Nigeria is at a critical juncture in its healthcare journey, facing challenges that require urgent, systemic solutions.

With a deficit of 415,000 hospital beds, millions of Nigerians lack access to essential medical care. The nation also has an acute shortage of medical professionals, due to the growing lack of training infrastructure and facilities.

Nigerians spend an estimated US$1.2–1.6 billion annually on medical tourism, while preventable deaths from cancer, cardiovascular diseases, and neonatal complications continue to rise. Tragically, 10 pre-term babies die every hour due to inadequate neonatal care.

These are losses that can — and must — be prevented. IASO Medipark is purposefully designed to address these gaps.

Developed in a Public-Private Partnership (PPP) with the Lagos State Government, IASO Medipark will be a leading centre for advanced clinical care, cutting-edge diagnostics, and medical research.

IASO Medipark features a state-of-the-art, 140-bed multi-specialty hospital, developed in phases to ensure operational efficiency and excellence. The hospital will be operated by Iwosan Lagoon Hospitals, a subsidiary of Iwosan Healthcare Systems and a leading healthcare provider with nearly four decades of experience and international accreditation.

Situated at 1-9 Awolowo Road, Ikoyi, Lagos, this project addresses critical gaps in Nigeria's healthcare sector while providing a sophisticated ecosystem for medical practice, entrepreneurship, and investment.
