IASO Medipark's Environmental and Social Management System sets out the framework governing environmental, social, health and safety obligations across the Lagos Medipark project. Hazardous and Medical Waste Management Plan (HWMP)

A comprehensive, lifecycle-based framework for the safe, compliant, and environmentally responsible management of hazardous and medical waste generated by the Lagos Medipark Hospital. Developed in alignment with national environmental regulations, AfDB Operational Safeguard 3, and international healthcare waste guidelines — covering waste segregation, handling, treatment, disposal, spill response, and emergency procedures.

Stakeholder Engagement Plan (SEP)

IASO Medipark's Stakeholder Engagement Plan sets out the structured approach for identifying, engaging, and maintaining communication with all project stakeholders across construction and operational phases. Covers stakeholder mapping, engagement methods, grievance redress mechanisms, institutional arrangements, monitoring and evaluation, and cost estimates — developed in compliance with AfDB Operational Safeguards and Nigerian regulatory requirements.

Health, Safety & Environment

Emergency Preparedness and Response Plan (EPRP)

A comprehensive framework for identifying potential risks, preventing incidents, and ensuring effective, coordinated emergency response across the Lagos Medipark facility. Covers hazard vulnerability analysis, emergency SOPs (fire, mass casualty, chemical spill, flooding, utility failure), incident command structure, training and drills programme, and coordination with government agencies including LASEMA, NEMA, and Lagos State Fire Service.
